What a breath of fresh air this doctor is! He listened, was incredibly knowledgable and went over and beyond to help.
He seems to genuinely care about my daughter and appears to have done his research into her Myotonic Dystrophy. He is very good at giving me feedback on the results of blood tests etc.
I have been lucky enough to have had Dr Mata's care for close to 20 years now. My medical history, including to spells in ITU is, both unusual, and extensive. It is no exaggeration to say that I would not have made it to writing this review without being blessed by having Dr Mata as my GP. The man is special in today's world. Should the world be blessed with more of his kind, it would be a far better place in which to live your life and to bring up our next generation.
Dr Sanjiv Mata was my GP for over 10 years, sadly I have moved out of the area and am no longer his patient and quite frankly no other GP is coming close on the care scale. He is honest, helpful, listens doesn't judge you and gives you the best medical/ health advice and care. He has significantly helped me navigate improvements to my health and lifestyle over the years as well as being available when ever I had a concern. GPs like this are hard to find. I am grateful to have had the pleasure of being his patient.
Dr Mata called me today over 1 hour later than the appointment was for to discuss my MRI results. The first question asked was whether I wanted to progress on my private health care, I said no. He gave me no information on my MRI, in fact I provided him with details from my physio appointment and feedback. I informed him that I had been referred to a consultant, he had no idea and added the information to my records. Telephone appointment lasted 60 seconds and was an utter waste of both my and his time. Hoped for an informative diagnosis and got nothing.
